Within the working visit, Chairman of the Board of KTZH National Company JSC Nurlan Sauranbayev and Akim of Atyrau Region Serik Shapkenov visited the Atyrau Wagon Factory.
Shota Abkhazava, CEO of the TEXOL Group, demonstrated the production facilities and the construction of the new workshops of the Factory to the guests.
The plans for extension of the production facilities were discussed, as well as a wide product range to be presented following the implementation of the whole industrial project in Atyrau was reviewed during the meeting.
TEXOL Atyrau Car Building Corporation is comprised of the Atyrau Wagon Factory, its main production facilities, the car component workshops under construction and the foundry for medium and small car casting which is now under design. Makhambet Industrial and Production Complex (IPC) includes the car and wheel workshop (CWW), the car component, axle finishing cut, wheel pair formation, truck building workshops, the car brake block plant, as well as the largest and oldest railway car maintenance and repair station “Ak-Zhaiyk-7” specializing in the overall repair of cars and tank cars.
In 2027, once the factory reaches its project capacity of 7,000-8,000 cars a year, it will build the oil and petroleum and gas tank cars, 40- and 80-foot fitting platforms, drop bottom gondolas and box cars.
