TEXOL Group of Companies supported a 10-year-old tennis player from Atyrau by sponsoring Gabriel Bregvadze's trip to the TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour Grand Tennis Championship in Spain.
The TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour International Big Tennis Tournament was held from 17 November to 01 December 2024 at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca (Spain). The tournament was attended by 276 children from 8 to 15 years old from 49 countries of the world. The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by Gabriel Bregvadze.
On the way to the final Gabriel confidently beat each of his rivals, leaving them no chance. In the boys under 10 category, 32 of his peers from different countries took part. He confirmed his winning status in the final match against Scotland's Louis Taylor with a score of 6-4, 6-0 in Gabriel's favour.
Gabriel has been playing tennis since he was four and a half years old and is coached by his mum Vera Tikhomirova-Bregvadze, a master of sports in tennis. In the current national ranking he holds the first position and is the best tennis player of Kazakhstan in the category under 10 years old.
